About Me...

Henry Kafoa is a seasoned vocal professional, with over 10 years of international experience in Music Theatre Performance and Vocal Tuition. He is currently one of the singing voice teachers in the Musical Theatre department at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. An ardent believer that your own, personal voice is your most powerful instrument, Henry approaches every lesson with a passion for fostering authentic vocal connection grounded in solid technique.

Catering to all ages and skill levels, Henry aims to create a safe, nurturing environment where singers of all skill levels are fostered and supported to cultivate their own individual voices while gaining a steadfast technical understanding.

Performance credits include The Sunshine Club (Queensland Theatre), Once on This Island (Altitude Theatre), Tick, Tick... Boom! (That Production Company), Forbidden Romance (BCO), Yank! (Understudy Productions), Fair Dinkum (Echelon Productions) and Miss Saigon (QCGU).

Henry holds a B.Mus (Music Theatre) & Master of Music Studies (Vocal Pedagogy) from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. Having grown a passion for voice science research through these courses he is now embarking on PhD research investigating vocal health for the musical theatre performer.
